Use Registry Editor to turn on automatic logon

အရင္ ပိုစ႔္အေဟာင္း ၿပီး ဒီပိုစ္႔ ဆက္လုပ္ရင္ေတာ႔ ပိုအဆင္ေျပပါတယ္။ Windows XP, 2003 မွာ Windows Logo Screen မွာ

user name  & password မရိုက္ပဲ တန္း၀င္သြားေအာင္ Registry ကေနလုပ္တာပါ။ ေအာက္က အဆင္႔အတိုင္းလုပ္ရင္ အိုေက ပါတယ္။

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type Regedt32.exe, and then press ENTER.
3. Locate the following subkey in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

1. Double-click the DefaultUserName entry, type your user name, and then click OK.
2. Double-click the DefaultPassword entry, type your password, and then click OK.NOTE: If the DefaultPassword value does not exist, it must be added. To add the value, follow these steps:

a. On the Edit menu, click New, and then point to String Value.

b. Type DefaultPassword, and then press ENTER.

c. Double-click DefaultPassword.

d. In the Edit String dialog, type your password and then click OK.

NOTE: If no DefaultPassword string is specified, Windows automatically changes the value of the AutoAdminLogon key from 1 (true) to 0 (false), disabling the AutoAdminLogon feature.

 

Hide user accounts from the Windows XP Welcome screen

Windows XP Welcome screen မွာ local Administrator Account နဲ႔ တျခား Limited အေကာင္႔ေတြ ခြဲထားပီးေတာ႔ Administrator account ကိုေဖ်ာက္ထားတဲ႔ နည္းေလးပါ ။

ေအာက္က Registry လမ္းေၾကာင္းအတိုင္းသြားရပါမယ္

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList

အဲဒီအထိေရာက္ေအာင္သြားၿပီး ညာဘက္ အကြက္မွာ Right Click > New > Dword Value တခု တည္ေဆာက္ ပီး ၊ နာမည္ကို ကိုယ္ေဖ်ာက္ခ်င္တဲ႔ အေကာင္႔ရဲ႔ နာမည္ အတိအက်ေပးရပါမယ္ (Ex: Administrator, Bob) . Account တည္ေဆာက္ၿပီးသြားရင္ေတာ႔ သူ႔ရဲ႔ Value ကို 0 “zero “ ထားေပးရမယ္။

0 – Hides the user just from the welcome screen           
1 – The user is shown

အားလံုးလုပ္ၿပီးသြားလ်ွင္ စက္ကို Log Off လုပ္လိုက္ရင္ ခုလို ေအာက္က ပံုအတိုင္းျမင္ရမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္ ။

 

ကိုယ္႔ရဲ႔ Administrator Account ထဲကိုျပန္၀င္ခ်င္တယ္ ဆိုရင္ေတာ႔ Ctrl + Alt + Del ႏွစ္ခ်က္ ႏွိပ္ၿပီး ျပန္၀င္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

how to enable folder options

Click Start, choose Run and execute regedit.

Navigate to: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\

Policies\Explorer]

Look for a value called NoFolderOptions on the right panel

Right click on the NoFolderOptions value and choose delete

Navigate to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\

Policies\Explorer]

Right click on NoFolderOptions on the right pane and choose Delete

Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc -> User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Prevent access to registry editing tools -> Right Click Properties -> Disabled
